Women's Ministry

Our women's ministry exists to teach, build and connect the women of our church and our community in their relationship with God and others. Areas of growth include: weekly MasterLife Bible Stuy, conferences and seminars, daily connection points (coffee, lunch, play dates), and annual retreat. Men's Ministry

As iron sharpens iron, so too our Men's Ministry is determined to grow leaders and disciples of Christ from within. We offer many opportunities for growth including weekly men's MasterLife Bible Study, annual retreat, monthly socials and accountability groups, and community recreation activities. GM Kids

GM Kids, for our babies to age 5, showers the kids with TLC. Beginning at age 2, we teach the kids about God and His love for them. KidZone - Elementary School

Our dynamic Children's Ministry is growing by leaps and bounds! Through multi-media presentations, interactive songs and teaching God's Word our children (age 5- 5th grade) take Biblical principles home with them to share with their family. We also schedule a kid's Sunday service once per year, allowing the adults to experience KidZone. This gets our entire church family excited about the Children's Ministry. FUSE:37 - Students

FUSE:37 is the middle and high school student ministry of Genesis Metro Church. Annual events include: weekly Bible studies, summer camp, back to school parties, fall retreat and discipleship classes. These events will keep the students engaged in Christ an in their church, while presenting opportunities to invite their friends. For more information, contact us at students@genesismetro.org.

Missions

As Christ commands in the New Testament, our purpose on earth is to go and make disciples of all men. Our church actively participates in mission trips and other service groups, as a way to show the love of Christ to the community.

Our next mission trips to Honduras are in March, June, and July. We have groups going March 13th – 20th, June 5th – 12th, and July 24th – 31st. Our purpose will be to continue construction on the Promise Home Orphanage, host VBS for 1,000 children, run sports camps, and hold evangelistic services each night. LifeGroups

Through training and teaching, we've successfully incorporated a system by which all groups members interact and learn through Welcome, Worship, Word and Work (application). The leadership potential of each church member is recognized and growing to include additional people.

Couple's Ministry

Come together with other couples for a night out, and let the kids stay with a sitter. We meet every other month for dinner and coffee, games, and an overall good time. Our couple's ministry shares a passion to unite other adults through fellowship and encouragement. Click on their name, above, and send them an email to get involved! Marriage Mentors

We seek to strengthen and enrich marriages through one-on-one mentoring relationships.
Whether you and your spouse would like to mentor another couple or take your own marriage through the mentoring process, you will find your relationship blessed and enriched through this bible based ministry. GM F.I.T. (Fellowship In Training)

GM FIT will encourage, motivate and challenge believers into action. This program is designed to educate you on proper eating habits, food choices and exercise programs that will lead you down the path to a healthier lifestyle. We will offer one-on-one goal assessment, Saturday morning boot camps, informational articles, healthy recipes, cooking classes and more. We look forward to the opportunity to move forward with each of you as we learn to offer our bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God (Romans 12:1). So come on GM, let's get fit! PlayGroups

This is a special time for moms and kids to get together and hang out, share stories, and learn more about each other.

Sunday Set-Up and Break-Down Teams

This vital team aids in allowing us to have a comfortable experience every Sunday. Team members help set-up and breakdown chairs, children's areas, and the staging area.

Greeting Team

As the first impression of GM, those on this team smile, welcome people to church and hand them a bulletin.

Many people love to serve on the greeting teams, as it's a great way to get to know others. Email Michelle Lance and sign up today!

Hospitality Team

Hospitality provides breakfast items and juice for people to enjoy before the Sunday services. This team is on a 4 week rotation and loves to serve.

Signs Team

Every Sunday morning, a few men put out signs on the roads directing visitors to GM. For the majority of GM members, this is their first look at GM and many come to our church because they saw the sign!

CARES Team

This group provides meals and encouragement to families during recent life changes (newborns, job transitions, deaths, sickness, etc.).
